The City of Glendora has been awarded funding by the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP-Cycle 12) for the safety enhancement and improvement of 10 intersections. The City is planning to convert traffic signals from pedestal-mounted to mast arms at 8 intersections (Route 66 @ Grand Ave, Vermont Ave, Glendora Ave, Pasadena Ave, Elwood Ave, Loraine Ave, Lonehill Ave, and Amelia Ave), and improve traffic signal hardware on 2 intersections (Grand Ave @ Gladstone Street and Glendora Ave @ Baseline Road. The City is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified professional engineering firms (Consultants) for the preparation of design plans, specifications, cost estimates, bid documents, provide bid assistance and construction support, to make necessary modifications and improvements, including traffic signal changes to the above-mentioned intersections, referred to as Project hereinafter.
