Project Description The existing HPHQ has exceeded its useful service life and no longer meets the operational, spatial, and technological needs of the Harbor Police Department (HPD). The aging facility, approximately 25,000 square feet, houses Police Administration, Operations, Records, and Patrol (including Airport and Marine units). To address these challenges, the District plans to construct a new, state-of-the-art headquarters facility. The new building will be designed to meet current operational requirements while providing flexibility for future growth. Key priorities include energy efficiency, enhanced security, and integration of advanced technologies. The project scope also includes demolition of the existing facility following the successful transition to the new building, as well as associated site development, parking, and landscaping improvements.
