The County of San Mateo seeks qualified contractors to provide comprehensive groundwater monitoring and technical support services in the San Mateo Plain Basin. This project aims to assess groundwater level fluctuations to support local water management strategies, regulatory compliance, and long-term sustainability practices. Contractor will conduct groundwater level monitoring at wells in the CASGEM monitoring network for two biannual monitoring events, in accordance with the CASGEM Monitoring Plan. This task includes coordination with well owners; collection of field measurements from wells in the monitoring network; compilation of water level monitoring data from approximately eleven (11) selected wells in the network monitored by other entities (examples: the Palo Alto Park Mutual Water Company Well #7 and two (2) wells in the City of East Palo Alto); and preparation and upload of the monitoring data to the CASGEM Portal. The biannual monitoring events must occur in the Fall and Spring. All data will be uploaded in accordance with CASGEM data submittal deadlines. Contractor will also provide support for maintaining current information for the San Mateo Plain well network on the CASGEM data portal.
