Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Graphic Designer will be expected to produce an array of external and internal collateralon an as-needed basis. The Graphic Designer will also have anintegral role in creating the visual representation of the Authority’sservices and operations through print and electronic mediaincluding the company website, www.oakha.org, and Intranet.The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Communications Team Leaderby meeting regularly in person or by phone, participating in team meetings as necessary, making recommendations pertaining to design and execution, and assisting with print production and distribution processes. Upon meeting with the Communicationsand Marketing Team,the Graphic Designers/Artists will analyze, plan, and create visual solutions for communication needs. They recommend and implement the most effective means of conveying messages across a variety of platforms including print, electronic, and video media using a variety of methods such as copy, illustration, photography, animation, color, type, and various print and layout techniques. The Graphic Designer will develop the conceptsanddesign advertisements, newsletters, journals, reports, and other publications. TheGraphic Designerwill also produce promotional displaysand program marketing literature, design distinctive program logos, and develop signs and signage systems—called environmental graphics—for internal and external building use. The Graphic Designer will also develop material and design elements for internet web pages, interactive media, social media and multimedia projects. The Graphic Designerwill prepare preliminary concept designs based on the request of the Communicationsand MarketingTeam. The Graphic Designerwill alsomake changes and refine preliminary designs as needed,prepare final print ready files,and provide technical graphicdesign assistance as requested.
