The project goals are to replace the current homegrown post award financial GFAS solution, Microsoft Excel, and other the various manual processes into a single solution. OCTA is looking for a Software as a Service (SAAS) model that allows the Revenue Administration Team to report and track financial transactions within the application. The Revenue Administration Team is also looking for a system that can integrate with various external applications, such as OCTA’s HR and Payroll system, Finance Enterprise (AR and AP) and Data Warehouse. Integration is key component and is to be part of the initial implementation of the solution. OCTA’s Revenue Administration Team will also be looking for a solution that allows flexibility to track financial transactions for revenue agreements, AP and contract(s) transaction data. Additionally, OCTA is in the process of transitioning its HR system from Lawson to Workday, with implementation scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025. The vendor will adjust the implementation timeline for the new GFAS to accommodate integrations with other applications, such as OCTA’s HR/Payroll system. Additionally, the vendor may propose an alternative schedule or a phased approach that aligns with the HR/Payroll implementation, reducing the risk of managing two (2) HR/Payroll integrations.
