2.2 Funding Research Consultant will actively search for applicable funding opportunities that Ventura Water may be eligible for to help fund Operational Costs and CIP projects. Funding opportunities may include but are not limited to State and Federal Grants, State Revolving Fund (SRF) Loans, and Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) funding. Additionally, identifying creative and innovative funding opportunities for educational programs or EV charger implementation at, but not limited to, the planned Advanced Water Purification Facility. Consultant shall inform the City of available funding opportunities, the level of effort required in pursuing the available funding and the requirements of the funding if awarded so the City can make an informed decision as to which opportunities to pursue. 2.3 Application Preparation Consultant will prepare applications for funding opportunities the City has chosen to pursue. Consultant will work with City Staff to gather the necessary information to prepare the application and submit it to the City for review and final submission to the appropriate agency or agencies. 2.4 Funding Management Consultant will provide ongoing grant assistance and management for the funding received as a result of applications submitted under this agreement. This includes but is not limited to implementing grant agreements, financial reporting, performance reporting, and final reporting.
