• Grant Opportunity Monitoring/Research, including but not limited to identifying and monitoring federal, state, regional/local, and private grant opportunities. • Grant Strategy Development, including but not limited to recommending grant opportunities that align with the City’s goals/objectives, with an emphasis on emergency preparedness, public safety, and disaster prevention, and providing guidance on competitive positioning for funding opportunities. • Proposal Development and Submission, including but not limited to preparing and submitting high-quality, competitive grant applications on behalf of the City, assisting City staff with gathering necessary information and data for applications, and ensuring compliance with all grant requirements, guidelines, and deadlines. • Post-Award Support (as requested), including but not limited to assisting with grant award acceptance, compliance, and reporting requirements, as well as providing technical assistance to City staff on grant management practices. • General Services, including but not limited to providing regular updates to City staff on grant opportunities and applications status. This will include attending meetings (virtual or in-person) with City staff, as needed.
