Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Funding Needs Assessment: Meet with City Staff to identify grant-funding needs, priorities, and develop an overall grant-funding outline and strategy. 2) Grant Funding Research and Support Activities: Conduct research to identify grant resources including, but not limited to federal, state, foundation, agencies and organizations that support the needs identified in the Assessment. The following are City’s funding needs and priorities in general areas by way of illustration but not limitation: a) Municipal Facilities b) Community/Economic Development c) Affordable Housing d) Workforce Development e) Criminal Justice Technology and Programs f) Infrastructure Development and Maintenance g) Tourism, Parks, and Recreation h) Transportation/Highway /Sustainability/Transit i) GIS Geographic Information System j) Community and Municipal Planning 3) On-call Grant Research: In addition to the areas defined above other areas may be also identified through the funding needs assessment process and throughout the duration of the contract.
