Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Laguna Beach (“City”) is seeking proposals from qualified proposers (hereinafter “Contractor” or “Contractors”) interested in providing services for the City’s goat grazing program for certain designated Fuel Modification Zones (the “Project”). The objective of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) solicitation is to identify the highest-qualified Contractor to provide the services described herein (“Scope of Services" or “Services”). The successful Contractor will be required to enter into an Independent Contractor Agreement (“Agreement”) with the City for the duration of the Project. An example of the Agreement is attached to this RFP as Attachment A (“Template Independent Contractor Agreement”). Final contract terms, including compensation and length of the agreement are subject to final City and/or City Council approval. The City’s goat grazing Program for the City’s designated Fuel Modification Zones (FMZ) 1 through 10 as follows: (Zone 1 Dartmoor 30.12 total acres) (Zone 2 Skyline-Alta Laguna 60.2 total acres) (Zone 3 Hidden Valley 43 total acres) (Zone 4 Bluebird Canyon 40 total acres) (Zone 5 Nestall – Top of the World 30.5 total acres) (Zone 6 Fire Road 37.8 total acres) (Zone 7 Ceanothus 10.3 total acres) (Zone 8 Three Arch Bay 15.9 total acres) (Zone 9 Del Mar 7.5 total acres) and (Zone 10 Barracuda 7.5 total acres) Collectively, zones 1 through 10.
