Specifications include, but are not limited to: The operator will partner with Sacramento County Department of Regional Parks to accomplish the following; • Provide horse boarding services at reasonable rates. • Maintain premises, including associated buildings, arenas, outbuildings and facilities in accordance with State and County standards and abide by all applicable health codes, safety, regulations, and environmental directives. • Provide the highest level of care and ensure the well-being of animals in accordance with accepted animal care practices. Regional Parks's objectives are to: • Improve the concession premises consistent with the Gibson Ranch Park Land Use and General Development Plan (Attachment B); • Protect and preserve the natural and cultural features of the park site; • Provide reasonable financial compensation to support County Regional Parks, including the park operations and interpretive activities; • Ensure that horse boarding operations minimally impact a park visitor’s ability to enjoy and experience other aspects of Gibson Ranch Park.
