Specifications include, but are not limited to: Geotechnical Services may include the following (depending on existing conditions and design): • Review of applicable geotechnical reports for the project area and adjacent sites. • Conduct a field investigation and characterization of the subsurface stratigraphy, soil characteristics and composition of representative soil profile section drawings. • Review soil profiles vs. the boring data and confirm that the adjacent profiles are consistent and representative. • Devise a comprehensive boring plan and logs for the project sites if needed. • Issue a geotechnical investigation report documenting review of existing data, field investigations conducted, and design recommendations. • Review and comment on project contract documents for conformance with the geotechnical recommendations. • Provide support to Construction Administration services during the construction by performing submittal reviews when requested, responses to requests for information, monitoring of excavation/backfill/compaction, confirmation of site conditions, providing supplemental geotechnical recommendations, and documenting that the work conforms to the geotechnical report. Groundwater Requirements: • Investigation of the water level across the site that includes a long-term seasonal table elevation projection for the purpose of foundation design, waterproofing and construction shoring. • Include recommendations for potential temporary and permanent dewatering systems...
