The Contractor shall provide the following services: A. QUARTERLY SERVICES: 1. Inspect, test, and perform all necessary maintenance and repairs to the generator, automatic transfer switches, uninterruptible power supplies, diesel fuel, diesel fuel tank, day tank, and leak detection system. 2. Inspect, test, and repair the engine/generator controller and points of connection for defects. 3. Check all fluid levels, supply appropriate fluids, and top off as necessary. 4. Inspect and repair as needed diesel fuel tank, diesel fuel pump, day tank, and fuel lines at fittings. 5. Check generator engine for fuel coolant, or oil leaks, and repair them as needed. 6. Adjust or replace all engine drive belts, pulleys, and hoses as needed. Inspect the radiator for airflow restrictions, and evaluate fan and shroud conditions. Repair or replace components as necessary. 7. Inspect the block heaters for proper operation and leaks. Repair or replace the block heaters as necessary. 8. Inspect and repair the exhaust system for air leaks, and tighten all mounting studs as necessary. 9. Inspect, evaluate, repair, or replace the fuel injection pump, transfer pump, and governor system for proper operation. 10. Check and clean all battery cables and terminals. Check electrolyte levels and secure battery covers. B. SEMI ANNUAL MAINTENANCE SERVICES All items listed under the quarterly services above, including the following: 1. Upon completion of items 1 through 19 above, start and run the equipment engine generator for twenty (20) minutes. Log all gauge readings. Verify engine safety shut-down is properly operational. Check voltage and frequency output readings at the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) emergency unit and report any deficiencies. Perform necessary repairs. 2. During the twenty (20) minute run, check for fluid leaks, verify battery charging alternator for proper DC voltage, log, and report findings immediately. Repair any fuel leaks. Replace the battery charger if necessary. 3. Lab testing for fuel contamination. Filter and clean the fuel as necessary. 4. Check oil viscosity and levels. Replace as necessary. 5. Check amps on cranking. Replace starter motors if necessary. 6. Check coolant dissolution if applicable. Replace coolant if necessary. 7. Check filters and gage meter for usage time. Replace filters if necessary.
