1. Oil Changes The contractor will be responsible for performing oil changes and replacing oil filter elements on two (2) generators. The engine oil shall be with 40 weight heavy-duty diesel grade motor oil. The unit shall then be started and all systems inspected for leaks and proper operation. All residuals left as a result of the work performed shall be removed and the area left clean. Any materials used to perform such cleaning shall be properly disposed of. 2. Fuel System The Contractor shall remove and replace fuel filter(s). All fuel lines shall be inspected for leaks and/or brittleness and all leaks stopped and hoses replaced as needed. The fuel tank level indicators shall be inspected for proper operation. If applicable, float switch operation, fuel transfer pump(s) and overflow of the fuel pump system shall be inspected for proper operations. Fuel tank shall be filtered and additives applied in order to preserve fuel integrity for emergency use. All residuals left as a result of the work performed shall be removed and the area cleaned. Any materials used to perform such cleaning shall be properly disposed of. 3. Intake Air Filter System Intake air filters shall be used. All turbo hoses and clamps shall be inspected for leaks and be replaced as needed.
