Specifications include, but are not limited to: The GRYD Program is seeking a contractor with expertise in providing the following: 1. Community based intervention certification training for recently hired GRYD Community Intervention Workers (CIWs), Ambassador, and assigned staff in the areas of: professional development, GRYD Comprehensive Model, incident response, standards of conduct & practice, law enforcement interaction protocols, and roles & responsibilities of GRYDCIWs and Ambassadors. 2. Training for existing GRYD Community Intervention Workers, Ambassadors and Intervention staff in the areas of: mentoring, case management, effective communication, and collaboration with community partners. 3. Training for Summer Night Lights and Seasonal GRYD Community Intervention Workers to implement GRYD’s Community Engagement component of GRYD’s Comprehensive Strategy 4. Training in the area of violence intervention programming and additional forms of violence reduction (i.e hospital based violence intervention, street outreach/community intervention, conflict resolution etc.) Contractor must have personnel with knowledge and experience working with community-based intervention workers or peacekeepers that are focused on providing gang intervention services in communities that are impacted by but not limited to gang violence, domestic violence and many forms of community violence. Contractor must have experience providing training specifically for front line workers operating in gang impacted neighborhoods.
