Program 1: “Growing Grounds Retail Vocational Programs” SLOBHD is seeking proposals for the provision of a vocational training site that offers job coaching, assessment, vocational support, and work experience in a retail outlet in the city of SLO. Revenues received from the sales of store products shall be used to partially offset the salary costs and the operating expense of the program. Vocational training services shall work with the Growing Grounds Nursery and Farm and supported employment programs. Program 2: “Vocational Training and Supported Employment” SLOBHD is seeking proposals for the provision of vocational services that engage, orient, prepare, and support mental health clients to work independently in the community. Program expands vocational services to Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) Full Service Partnership (FSP) clients (twenty-two percent (22%)), Adult FSP clients (twenty-two percent (22%)), older adult FSP clients (six percent (6%)) and all other mental health clients in general (fifty percent (50%)).
