The work will generally consist of professional animal and pest control services to support the operations and maintenance of the Dougherty Valley Geologic Hazard Abatement District (DV GHAD) and Northwest San Ramon Geologic Hazard Abatement Districts (NWSR GHAD). Services may include, but are not limited to: - Conduct site investigations to assess the need for animal or pest control (e.g. ground squirrels, gophers, moles, voles, wild pigs, racoons, and rats) in accordance with appropriate laws and environmental regulations - Identify and map active burrows on GHAD maintained open space parcels - Implement approved control measures (e.g., trapping, rodenticides) - Dispose of deceased or infected wildlife in accordance with appropriate laws and regulations - Monitor treated areas and assess effectiveness - Prepare summary reports with findings and recommendations - Other related pest control management services related to GHAD maintenance as requested
