The City of Placentia invites sealed bids for the demolition and removal of two 12,000-gallon single wall fiberglass underground fuel storage tanks, three fuel dispensers and associated piping, existing tank monitor systems, wiring and conduit. Work by the Contractor shall include all sampling, testing, reporting, paperwork and inspections needed to successfully complete all requirements of Placentia Building Department and Orange County Health Care Agency (OCHCA) – Environmental Services. The tanks and connected piping must be permanently closed before December 31, 2025 in accordance with H&SC, section 25298, and California Code of Regulations (CCR) title 23, chapter 16, section 2672. The additive “B” schedule work includes construction and installation of one 15,000-gallon dual compartment (10k gasoline/ 5k diesel) underground fuel storage tanks, all associated piping, wiring and spill protection, two dual hose fuel dispensers, tank and piping monitor system.
