The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to invite qualified bidders to prepare and submit proposals to furnish bulk fuel delivery services that support the University’s diverse needs, including fleet, transportation, emergency response, utilities, and other applications, as outlined in the University's policy on sustainable practices. The fuel requirements encompass Unleaded 87 gasoline and Diesel, aligning with the University's goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase fuel efficiency. The awarded supplier will be expected to collaborate with the University to develop an optimal fuel delivery schedule, aiming to minimize total delivery vehicle miles and maximize bulk fuel discount structures, thereby reducing operating costs and environmental impact to the University of California San Diego; Suppliers are encouraged to submit proposals inclusive of purchase, transport, and servicing of the following categories: • Unleaded Fuel Octane 87 (higher octane upon request) • Renewable Diesel (R99) – Preferred
