Contractor shall provide a comprehensive freight management solution to help reduce shipping cost, improve visibility, and streamline inbound shipments. This RFP is seeking a company who can act as our third-party shipping/freight management for primary inbound shipments from orders we’ve placed with suppliers and some outbound shipments when shipping labels are created to send out packages including RMA returns, etc. Currently, our monthly figures are approximately 100-200 inbound and 5-20 outbound packages going through our current third-party freight management service contract. We do not have an approximate list of vendors who do not participate/process in our current third-party freight management contract service currently. Shipments are daily from various locations in the U.S. and primarily packages and not pallets. Inbound pallet shipments will be deferred through this third-party freight management services as well so long as shippers participate in the program with the third-party.
