. The Contractor Shall: 1. Provide services on a quarterly basis. 2. Visual inspection of forklift and fluid check, top off as needed. 3. Oil and filter inspection, top off and change as needed. 4. Reapplication of lube on forklift parts, as needed. 5. Inspection/testing of different components (engine, hydraulics, and brakes etc.) and fix as needed. 6. A summary of maintenance conducted, and recommendations will be submitted to HFFRF B. In the event of emergency repairs required for the forklift, contractors are expected to adhere to the following stipulations: 1. Urgent Response: Contractors must respond promptly to any emergency repair requests for the forklift, prioritizing the safety of personnel and minimizing operational downtime. 2. Rapid Assessment: Upon arrival, contractors should conduct a rapid assessment of the forklift to identify the nature and severity of the issue. 3. Safety Measures: Contractors must prioritize safety protocols, ensuring the appropriate measures are taken to safeguard personnel and property during the maintenance process. 4. Timely Action: Contractors should take swift and decisive action to address the emergency, employing their expertise to resolve the issue efficiently and effectively. 5. Communication: Throughout the maintenance process, contractors must maintain open lines of communication with the Contract Manager, providing updates on the progress and any unforeseen challenges encountered. 6. Documentation: Contractors are responsible for documenting all emergency repair activities, including the details of the issue, action taken and any parts or materials used. 7. Post-Repair Evaluation: Following the completion of emergency maintenance contractors should conduct a thorough evaluation to verify the effectiveness of the repairs and identify any additional steps necessary to prevent future occurrences. 8. Additional fees: The contractor reserves the right to charge an additional fee to cover the allocation of resources and manpower for emergency repair services related to the forklift. This fee will be communicated and included in the overall cost of the contract. All costs must be communicated with the Project Manager prior to the maintenance occurring.
