The purpose of this Request for Bids (RFB) is to solicit competitive bids from qualified dealers for the purchase and delivery of new fleet trucks that meet or exceed the specifications set forth in this solicitation. The fleet vehicles being procured will serve a variety of functions, including utility maintenance, construction support, equipment transportation, and field technician deployment. Bidders are invited to submit pricing for both trucks that are readily available (in-stock or in-transit) and trucks that will be manufactured upon award, with preference potentially given to units available for immediate delivery. All vehicles must comply with applicable California vehicle and emissions standards and be equipped with required safety features. The District intends to evaluate proposals based on factors including compliance with specifications, price, delivery timeline, and vehicle availability.
