Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall act as the Fiscal Intermediary for the Los Angeles County (County or LAC) Department of Mental Health (Department or DMH) Stipend Program (Program). The Contractor will be the liaison between LAC DMH, participating schools, and awarded students. Contractor shall administer the Program by providing stipends to qualified students and tracking these students through various LAC DMH-initiated benchmarks. 1.1 Advertise the Program and recruit potential candidates; 1.2 Select qualifying applicants based on the specific DMH criteria and Coordinate selection of awardees for the Stipend Program; 1.3 Distribute the stipends to up to 144 selected students; 1.4 Track graduation, completion of the employment payback obligations, and job retention of each stipend recipient; and 1.5 Oversee program tracking outcomes including but not limited to providing information, data, and reports regarding the stipend program as required by DMH.
