The City of Roseville is soliciting proposals for a Fire VHF System Upgrade. This will be a competitive negotiation process. Qualified individuals, firms, contractors, consultants or entities that meet the requirements set forth in this Request for Proposals and are capable of providing the services requested are encouraged to participate. Roseville Fire’s VHF radio system is comprised of (3) VHF channels operating in voter-receiver configuration across multiple radio sites with one transmitting location. This project will update existing infrastructure some of which is 15+ years old, standardize coverage design on all channels and establish a support contract for ongoing VHF maintenance services. Roseville Fire utilizes the VHF system for several operational functions including: Daily operations with AMR Mutual aid incidents with VHF-based agencies such as CalFire, Rocklin Fire and Lincoln Fire Fire Station Alerting System activation Backup system to the City’s 800MHz radio system
