The Long Beach Public Utilities Department (LBPUD) is requesting quotations to provide fire suppression system inspection, maintenance, and repair services in accordance to the LBPUD needs and/or fund availability. Fire suppression systems to require inspection, maintenance, and repair service shall include overhead sprinkler systems, fire alarm panels, fire hoses, private fire hydrants (water hydrants/mains), pre-action units, bell sounding, smoke alarms and pull stations at three LBPUD campus locations. The services shall consist of the following, but is not limited to: Quarterly test and inspection for the automatic fire sprinkler system. Semi-annual pre-action/ deluge sprinkler system detection and control system. Annual fire alarm test and inspection for entire facility fire suppression system. 5-year private fire hydrant inspection. Troubleshooting. Repairs.
