SECTION 3 – SCOPE OF WORK Fire Plan Review 1. Contractor shall provide experienced, certified Building Plan Review/Plan Check Examiners and Fire Protection Engineers to supplement the District’s existing staff on an on-call, “as-needed” basis for fire plan review. 2. Contractor shall have staff members capable of verifying plan compliance with California Building and Fire Codes, adopted National Fire Protection Association Standards, and Division amendments. 3. Plan review services will address fire/life safety relative to the review of fire protection systems (for example, fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, fire pump installations, smoke control systems, etc.), civil improvement plans, and non-structural building plans for fire and life safety – as amended by the Division. 4. Contractor will ensure that all projects they are reviewing comply with the most up-to-date and current code requirements.
