Provide maintenance and repair services for the City of Santa Monica’s Fire Department Heavy Rescue Fire Apparatus and Rescue Ambulances. Vendor to provide new and unused repair parts that meet or exceed Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications and standards. Vendor to maintain the vehicles in an overall State of Good Repair. Provide bumper to bumper service and repair to include but not limited to the following: Routine Preventive Maintenance Inspections per OEM recommendations. Engine trouble shooting and repair, including engine tune-up. Perform brake reline, including resurfacing and repairing all sub-components as needed. Service and repair transmissions, differentials, drivelines and complete power train system, cooling system, hydraulic systems, steering, air conditioning, starting system and charging system. Service and repair vehicle awnings and auxiliary equipment. Perform minor repairs on the body, such as: mirrors, electric window repair, door locks and compartmentation repair. All work performed shall be made to vehicle OEM recommendations. All other repairs as needed.
