A. Inspection Procedures 1) Contractor shall work with Caltrans Contract Manager to set up a service schedule and shall schedule inspections at least two (2) weeks out for proper notification. 2) Contractor shall notify Caltrans Contract Manager when Contractor is on site to perform service inspections. 3) Contractor shall contact the local Fire Station prior to conducting any system function testing. 4) Contractor shall inspect each system for installation integrity, both electrical and mechanical. 5) Contractor shall ensure that a clear access exists to all devices, and equipment is maintained so that nothing may hinder operation of any device. B. Contractor shall submit to Caltrans Contract Manager an itemized invoice of services completed and any recommendations for safety updates and/or repairs needed. Contractor shall identify the cost of any parts/materials/supplies/fees/permits required to complete recommended safety updates and/or repairs. The cost of any parts/materials/supplies/fees/permits for routine and non-routine repairs required shall be in accordance with Attachment 1, Price Quote Proposal, Item Number 8, and Exhibit A, Item 13. C. Contractor shall train Caltrans Contract Manager on system operations if requested by Caltrans Contract Manager. D. Contractor shall submit a list of testing results to Caltrans Contract Manager within five (5) working days after completion of any inspections, preventative maintenance, and tests. E. Repairs that require parts to be ordered shall have prior written approval from Caltrans Contract Manager and shall be in accordance Attachment 1, Price Quote Proposal, Item Number 8, and Exhibit A, Item 13.
