Contractor shall perform the following services per manufacturer’s specifications: 1) Annual Inspection and Testing a) Check all detector sensitivity levels. b) Utilize a calibrating test instrument approved by manufacturer when cleaning and calibrating all smoke detectors. c) Inspect and test all smoke and heat detectors, and report (see Item 10, below) if the fire alarm and detection system is in service and in satisfactory condition. d) Inspect and report any changes or modifications of the fire alarm and detection system. e) Inspect and report the general condition of the fire alarm panel and related equipment. f) Inspect and test all fire alarm control panels and remote fire alarm panels. g) Inspect and test all alarm annunciators and zones. h) Inspect and report the details for all flow switches, tamper switches, and lowpressure alarms. i) Inspect and report all signals to ensure they are received by main security desk fire alarm panel. j) Complete a report of all inspections, including all deficiencies according to recognized care, code, and maintenance standards. k) Inspect and exercise all supervised control valves and switches. l) During testing of the fire detection system, outputs shall be operated for the purpose of equipment shutdown, start-up, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC)/smoke control...
