Specifications include, but are not limited to: Covina-Valley Unified School District is seeking proposals from qualified WAN Service Providers for leasing a high-speed fiber optic network system servicing all sites districtwide using highspeed managed leased lit fiber optics in the entire Wide Area Network system configured in a resilient ring topology. The proposed solution MUST be in-line with E-rate requirements. The District has an on-going strategic plan which includes supporting various telecommunications services, connectivity, and digital services, video, data, etc. between all of its sites. The current Technology infrastructure consists of a local area network installed at each campus with a hub and spoke wide area network connecting the 1Gb campus circuits to a 10Gb aggregate circuit back to the Districts Data Center. The current topology and speeds no longer meet the needs of the District.
