1. Included in this proposal is ‘Exhibit A’ which itemizes the quantity, model, and description of each component or service included in this procurement. The equipment is essential to make the broadband service functional and capable of transmitting 1 to 10 Gbps broadband service to the Owner’s buildings. 2. Each proposal must include a scope of work and estimated cost for the configuration and installation of all equipment being proposed by the Respondent, separately itemized for each preferred manufacturer’s equipment or equivalent equipment being proposed. Proposals for sale of the equipment, without the accompanying labor and scope of work for the installation and configuration of the equipment, will be rejected as failing to meet the minimum proposal requirements. 3. The Owner will accept proposals for equipment that is equivalent to the quality, functionality and design of the items set forth in ‘Exhibit A.’ Respondents that propose other manufacturer’s products are required to submit project specifications and documentation to establish that the equipment is equivalent to the quality and functionality of the equipment set forth in ‘Exhibit A.’ Failure to submit required documentation that satisfies the equivalency is grounds for disqualification. 4. Respondents are permitted to provide more than one proposal with different manufacturers’ equipment. Each separate manufacturer must be submitted as a completely separate proposal with all required documents. 5. Proposals must include a description of the manufacturer’s equipment warranty for each component listed in ‘Exhibit A.’ Descriptions should be specific and include the number of years covered by the warranty. E-Rate rules allow for a three (3) year manufacturer’s warranty to be included provided that the warranty is integral to the cost of the equipment and is not separately sold. 6. Prices quoted must include the costs for all normal operating and reference manuals and all connecting cables required for installation of the equipment. Power cords shall be included in the cost of the equipment.
