Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall be required to provide the necessary trained personnel, supervision, supplies, materials, tools and equipment to perform temporary and permanent fencing installation, inspection, repair and emergency services on an “as needed” basis at various County owned/leased facilities throughout the County of Santa Clara as describe herein. A. Type of Fences/Structures 1. Chain-Link with/without barbed wire top, with slaps, 2. Non-Climb 3. Farm 4. Wood 5. Barbed/Razor Wire 6. Welded Steel 7. K Rated Fences and Gates 8. Ornamental Fences 9. Silt fence 10. Gates – Roll, Manual, or Automatic/Electric 11. Retaining Walls B. Services shall include, but not limited to: 1. Project planning that may include site plan where applicable 2. Repairs the above fences/structures and gates 3. Installation of temporary/permanent fences 4. On-site evaluation of the above existing fences/structures including gates and report back to the County 5. May be require to repair operators, entry systems and access controls, digital keypads, telephone entry, vehicle detectors, etc. 6. Grading/terrain adjustment 7. Utility markings 8. Issues concerning sprinklers that may require work-around or relocation of sprinklers 9. Removal and disposal of existing fences 10. Clearing/stringing the fence line 11. Installation/re-hanging of gates 12. Erection, tensioning, slating, and or anchoring of fences 13. Inspect the above fences/structures for corrosion 14.
