Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Stanislaus (County) is seeking qualified and experienced legislative consultants with a proven track record in securing federal funding and a variety of budgetary, legislative, and regulatory knowledge, for the County’s Chief Executive Office. A consultant is needed to provide general federal lobbying services as a collaborative partner that will promote the County’s interests before the United States Congress and the Executive Branch in Washington, D.C. The County values effective partnerships with various levels of government, agencies, and departments, to advocate on issues of mutual interest and to secure funding that supports county principles and priorities. The County is also seeking experienced federal lobbying services to advance advocacy efforts, monitor funding opportunities, and review pending legislation, policies, and regulations that may impact Stanislaus County in areas including, but not limited to, infrastructure and transportation. Stanislaus County has a vested interest in working to proactively strengthen relationships with the delegation at the Federal level to advance projects and programs in service to the County’s residents. The County seeks representation, guidance, inroads and introductions to legislators, policy analysis, and legislative advocacy for, and against, issues impacting Stanislaus County. Both State and Federal priorities of Stanislaus County are advanced through advocacy efforts put forth by legislative consultants. Continued legislative lobbying services are critical to advocacy efforts.
