Represent SacSewer and advance SacSewer’s policy, regulatory interest and support its applications for grants and other interests within the United States Congress, President’s Administration, and Federal entities: a. Identify proposed federal action to include and not limited to; legislation, regulations, and sources of federal funding that could impact SacSewer. b. Analyze proposed federal actions for potential impact to SacSewer. c. Provide SacSewer a monthly written report to summarize and highlight issues or areas of concern related to federal proposals that could impact SacSewer’s business, operations, and potential grant funding opportunities. 7.2 Advise SacSewer and provide: a. Draft legislation and/or amendments to proposed federal legislation or regulations. b. Position papers/analyses. c. Testimony for hearings. d. Draft talking points for meetings. e. Review and draft federal grant applications. 7.3 Additional Services: a. Lobby and work with legislators and legislative staff, representatives and staff of Federal and Congressional offices and agencies and other parties who may have similar or adversarial positions to SacSewer’s position. b.
