The successful Firm(s) shall provide federal legislative representation, advocacy, and consulting services, while assisting the District in securing funding and furthering its interests. This section outlines the general expectations and requirements for these professional services: a. Represent Clovis Unified's interests before relevant federal agencies and interest groups, including but not limited to U.S. Congress, the Executive Branch, the Judicial Branch, the U.S. Department of Education ,U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Department of Transportation, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency; b. Monitor and report on activities within the Legislative and Executive branches that may be of interest to Clovis Unified School District through regularly scheduled calls, emails and meetings; c. Monitor all bills, resolutions, files, journals, histories, etc., relevant to the District. Copies of bills and amendments that may affect the District's regulatory interests shall be forwarded to designated District staff.
