8(a) requirement.
Description of Work: The intent of this contract is to obtain services for Rogueing (the removal of multiple germinates from container cells to leave 1 live healthy seedling), Birding (scaring off birds, squirrels and other animals that are in areas where seed has been sown in either container or bareroot areas), Weeding (removal of unwanted vegetation, hereinafter referred to as weeds, that meet the following minimum requirements: Removal of weeds from specified nursery growing areas to maintain conditions that are free of competition for crop plants and to prevent all weed species from reseeding or vegetative reproducing), and Sowing (seed sowing of conifer seeds). This contract is a bid for hourly services. An hourly rate for workers and hourly rate for foreman is requested.
