1. SCOPE OF SERVICE - Contractor shall furnish all the necessary labor, materials, equipment and supplies to provide all Sewer and Drain Service, including but not limited to: A. Service to be provided as an “ON CALL” basis at the request of CADA’s Facilities Maintenance Department. Service will be twenty-four (24) hours, seven (7) days a week. B. Service Hour Price Schedule will pertain to the time service provided based on the following schedule: Normal hours - 7:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday). After hours – 5:01 p.m. through 7:29 a.m. (Monday – Friday), and all hours Saturday and Sunday. C. All Prices are to be based on service being provided by one (1) person, unless otherwise requested by BidSheet. D. Drain service technician is to verbally communicate with the person requesting service within one (1) hour of original notification and inform him/her of the estimated time of arrival. In any event arrival shall be no more than two (2) hours after notification. E. When clearing a drain, minimum of 35’ of sewer cable must be run through the line. F. Hydrojet drains as requested. G. When disassembly is necessary, completely reassemble when work is complete. If toilet is removed and replaced use new wax ring and bolts. Exposed, unusable or damaged traps, tailpieces, etc., will be replaced with equivalent replacement parts prior to leaving job site (extra charge will be allowed). Contractor shall notify CADA’s Facilities Maintenance Manager or Department of damaged or cracked sewer line in need ofrepair. H. All wet footprints, handprints and smudges must be removed prior to leaving the site. The Contractor will furnish all supplies to clean and disinfect the areas dirtied by their employees. All raw sewage and debris will be removed from the job site at Contractor’s expense. The affected area shall be cleaned in accordance with public health standards. I. Contractor will guarantee all exposed pipe and pipe joints will not leak for a period of seven (7) calendar days after service. J. Cleaning of sumps and rainwater drain lines as needed to be included. This service will require separate quotes and prior approval from CADA.
