Project Description: This is a federally funded construction contract that is funded in whole or in part with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds as administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). CDBG funds will be used for this project. The scope of work generally consists of the rehabilitation of an existing roadway using Full Depth Reclamation (FDR), along Oakwood Avenue between Main Street and Mojave Street. Work includes pulverization of the existing asphalt pavement for reuse as base, subgrade preparation; including earthwork, grading, and compaction of the reclaimed material; placement of a new polymer modified asphalt concrete base course and surface course. The project also includes all appurtenant work necessary to complete the roadway improvements in accordance with the plans and specifications.
