The application of this vehicle involves the transportation of equipment and personnel to research and monitor the sources of air pollutants, within several districts of the County of San Diego for the effective application of regulatory emission controls. The cargo area of the utility body will accommodate multiple electronic analyzers (approximately 7 units), set up in a rack system, and compressed gas cylinders with different non-flammable gases, including office desks and equipment. This vehicle is to be the most current production with all standard equipment whether or not specifically called for here except where the item is replaced by optional over standard equipment and approved by the County of San Diego, Department of General Services, Fleet Management Division. See Exhibit A, Statement of Work Attachments. The contractor agrees to a minimum three (3) Teams meetings and/or in person meetings with SDAPCD and County at the vehicle build location to finalize vehicle and box design. The first meeting shall occur within ten (10) business days of the awarded contract where SDAPCD and County of San Diego will discuss proposed drawings with Contractor. The second meeting is for the Contractor to go over the proposed AUTOCAD or equivalent schematics and seek department and County's approval. The third meeting will be for approval of any design changes that arose from the second meeting. The contractor agrees to an additional three (3) check in meetings throughout the build, as directed by County and SDAPCD. The Contractor is expected to be proactive in contacting SDAPCD and County regarding questions and updates on the status of the build. These meetings are to ensure the equipment is placed correctly in the desired locations and inspect the quality of the vehicle so it may be placed in service without remediation repairs after delivery.
