BASE MINIMUM VEHICLE SPECIFICATIONS 2.1. Contractor shall meet the following base minimum specifications for the vehicle: Body Style E-450 Cutaway, DRW low profile; Wheelbase 158”, Cab to axle shall be designed to accommodate a 14’6”. cargo box; dual rear wheels; minimum GVWR: 14,500-Lbs. Payload 8981-Lbs., plus all standard equipment with the following additional specifications: 2.2. One (1) 2026 or Newer/Unused Ford E-450 Cutaway Chassis Dual Rear Wheel 2.3. 158” Wheel Base 2.4. Exterior Color: Oxford White or Iconic Silver 2.5. 7.3L Gasoline Engine/ Automatic Transmission Powertrain 2.6. Interior: Gray Two (2) Captain’s Chairs, Dual High-Back, Cloth (21A) 2.7. Mirrors - Manual Telescopic Trailer Tow - with power adjust (54E) 2.8. Power windows and door lock (903) 2.9. Three (3) keys/fobs total programmed and ready for use. 2.10. Door-Length Running Boards (688) 2.11.Conforms to Federal and California emissions. 3. OUTFITTING REQUIREMENTS 3.1. Body Structure 3.1.1. Contractor shall meet the following specifications: 14’6” Cargo truck body. The basic minimum box dimensions are as follows: Width exterior - 96”; interior - 94”; Height interior - 84”; Length interior load space – 168” 3.1.2. The driver’s seat shall be allowed full seat rail extension rearward and allow the seatback to recline a minimum of 30 degrees. The vehicle will be rejected if this is not adhered to. 3.1.3. Construction: Selected Contractor is to present the proposed design and materials to be use in the construction of this structure in AutoCad drawings or equivalant, frame and sub-frame shall conform with the aluminum used in the encasing of this structure, objectively maintaining a light, strong and durable configuration, as well as meeting all Department of Transportation regulations; FMVSS #108. 3.1.4. Walls: Exterior walls shall be aluminum painted white with interlocking snap lock panels puncture resistant and rivet free, forming a single body style construction. Also acceptable are white aluminum bonded side panels .100” skin thickness with 1” aluminum wall posts on 12” centers or white Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic FRP panels; describe thickness to be use and brand name; front wall is to be solid without pass-through opening into cab; Full skirt flush to bottom of vehicle cab, shall include extruded body rub moldings. Interior lining: Crane Kemlite White Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) lightweight or County Approved equivalent that’s abrasion resistant and easy to clean. 3.1.5. Floor: polyvinyl cover waterproof, mold and mildew resistant; large, raised coin colored grey over ¾” apitong hardwood floor. 3.1.6. Roof: Light weight, one piece .032 aluminum skin painted white, with bows 24” on center. Dry van insulation capabilities, as per item 4.7. 3.1.7. Electrical-Lighting: Contractor is to construct a 120-volt electrical system within the cargo box and shall include an electrical service panel with transfer switch; Installation of duplex outlets and switches will be constructed to UL/ ANSI standards. Lights must comply with FMVSS 108; system will include a minimum of 3 Leviton, 15 amp 3- way toggle switches; 4 LED Interior Dome lights; Grote 61611 or equal white aluminum acrylic, 1200 lumens, 12-volt/2.16 amps. All installations of FMVSS Lights & reflectors, interior lighting; receptacles and outlets are to be determined with Contractor after the award. 3.1.8. Insulation: ceiling, sides and rear panels shall be insulated to properly reduce sound, vibration and to provide a thermal barrier; this material shall be a non-settling, vermin, waterproof, mold and mildew resistant. 3.1.9. Doors, Rear door; Single Swing type, 30” opening width. Side door: installed with a minimum of 30” from front of box, with 30” width, swing out type with foldable or retractable stairs. Capacity of side doorstep electric Kwikee 3 step, or equal, shall be no less than 300- lbs. Heavy gauge and powder coated; step well is not acceptable. 3.1.10. Box shall include two sliding windows; one on street side of cargo area, this window will be to the right of street side desk; approximate size of windows is 24” W. x 20” H. Second window shall be on curb side of cargo area 24” from rear wall, exact location will be determined in conjunction with installing Contractor and selection of window type. 3.1.11. Provide and install a compartment/hatch mounted under deck or through the wall to provide access to the following items: all storage compartments will include positive latches (Trimark or equal): Vehicle delivery must occur no later than 120 days after contract execution
