The Work consists of developing and preparing Zone 7's five-year update to its Alternative Groundwater Sustainability Plan (Alt-GSP) and support for compliance with the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). The tasks will include reviewing, evaluating, and updating the Alt-GSP to current conditions, updating the Livermore Valley Groundwater Basin Hydrogeologic Conceptual Model, evaluating groundwater storage calculation methods, reviewing current conditions of groundwater quality, evaluating and refining Groundwater Dependent Ecosystems and Interconnected Surface Water sites, evaluating and refining the water budget, reviewing, evaluating, and development or updating Sustainable Management Criteria, reviewing monitoring networks, and preparing the Alt-GSP report. The tasks will also include support for the 2026 and 2027 Water Years Annual Reports, a data management evaluation, supplemental technical support for SGMA compliance, and project management. The final Alt-GSP and annual reports will be submitted to the Department of Water Resources via the SGMA Portal
