Contractor shall provide support activities, as directed by the County Fire Chief, which may include the following categories of activities: 4.2.1. Smoke Control Special Inspections and Smoke Control Periodic Testing. 4.2.1.1. Verify airflows, pressures, and condition of mechanical equipment 4.2.1.2. Operation and programming of fire alarm devices 4.2.1.3. Standby power testing 4.2.1.4. Door/window operation, latching and locking 4.2.2. Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) + Lithium-Ion Batteries. 4.2.2.1. Emergency response planning 4.2.2.2. Origin-and-cause investigation 4.2.2.3. Fire protection systems design 4.2.2.4. Security vulnerability analysis and physical security design 4.2.2.5. Hazard mitigation analysis preparation 4.2.2.6. Technical opinion reports 4.2.3. Forensic Services. 4.2.3.1. Determine origin and cause of fire, injury, or electrical and mechanical failures 4.2.3.2. Perform a root cause analysis of a product, structural or building envelope failure 4.2.3.3. Investigate progressive collapse of buildings, dams or bridges 4.2.3.4. Inspect metals and cementitious materials in our laboratories...
