Perform a feasibility analysis to determine the development options for six (6) City-owned properties located in the Van Nuys City Hall area in Council District 6. The properties are currently operated as public parking lots by the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT). The analysis will entail the feasibility of other uses such as affordable and/or mixed-income housing, open space, and commercial and retail space elements, and the required public parking replacement for the area. The City has performed initial assessments of the properties but further evaluation is required to determine the financial feasibility of various redevelopment scenarios and the most appropriate use(s) for the sites. Once Phase 1 - Feasibility Analysis is complete, the CAO will determine whether to proceed with Phase 2 - Community Engagement.
