Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Downtown Oxnard Farmers' Market was established in 1991 as an initiative of theCommunity Development Commission of the City. The market is a "certified" market andoperates year-round, every Thursday, from 9 am to 2 pm (except Thanksgiving, Christmas andNew Year's holidays). The market is located at Plaza Park along the North and East perimeter ofthe park (see attached Exhibit). The location, date, and time of the Farmer's Market are subjectto change upon consultation. Additional days and times may be considered.The selected vendor will be responsible for providing the following services:Operate the Downtown Oxnard Farmer's Market-Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing/public relations program to attract-more customers (and a more diverse base)Promote "Certified Farmer's Market" designation-Increase the number of vendors to provide greater variety (booths are limited to the North-and East perimeters of the park)Promote downtown merchants and restaurants through integrated marketing and events-Create seasonal promotions and entertainment offerings that promote a family-friendly-environment
