Fairmount Park Lakes are non-aerated and susceptible to algae blooms, aquatic weed growth, and sediment accumulation. These conditions negatively affect water quality, aesthetics, and the ecosystem's overall health. The City is seeking a contractor to implement a maintenance program to mitigate these issues and enhance the overall health of the lakes. The City of Riverside (“City”) and the Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department (PRCSD) are seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide comprehensive maintenance services for Fairmount Park Lakes, encompassing approximately 40 acres, including Fairmount Lake and Lake Evans. The aim is to enhance water quality, improve aesthetics, and protect the lakes' ecological integrity. Services will include, but are not limited to, algae and weed control and lake cleaning, as detailed below. The City will award to the lowest responsive Company based on the base bid total.
