Lawrence Livermore National Security, LLC (hereinafter called “LLNS”) is seeking sources that have existing capabilities, or can reasonably develop capabilities, to produce LLM-105 at the scale of quantities described within the RFI. Only contractors with expertise and experience in the following will be considered:
- Mixed nitration chemistry and analytical methods in the production of high explosive substances.
- Scaling production from small-batch or pilot-scale manufacturing to high-volume production.
- Experience in contamination mitigation and waste management as the result of high explosives synthesis.
Contractors must possess the necessary contractor qualifications and must be manufactured exclusively in the United States.
