1. Engagement must ensure broad input from students, families, staff, labor partners, and community organizations. 2. The firm must conduct both in-person and online surveys, available in multiple languages. 3. The firm will be required to publish a Leadership Profile Report summarizing stakeholder input, district strengths, challenges, and desired characteristics of the next Superintendent. 4. Outreach strategies must include measurable goals to ensure participation from underrepresented communities. 5. Deliverables to the Board include: a written summary of all community engagement activities, a presentation of the Leadership Profile Report in public session, and recommendations for how the Board may use stakeholder input to inform selection criteria. 5 6. Provide the Board with a recruitment plan, including advertising strategies, sample postings, and a list of outreach networks and publications to be used. 7. Submit copies of all advertising materials and recruitment communications for Board review prior to release. 8. Provide interim reports on candidate pool demographics to confirm outreach to diverse applicants. 9. Deliver a screening rubric and evaluation matrix for Board review, aligned to the Leadership Profile. 10.Provide a confidential written summary of each applicant’s qualifications and alignment with Board priorities.
