Community Based Organizations selected as an ExCEL/ELO-P Lead Agency will be contracted to provide an after-school or summer program that strives to align with, integrate, and build upon existing initiatives and priorities of the San Francisco Unified School District. The core efforts that inform and guide the work are based on ExCEL's Quality Action Plan - foundational elements (Strong Systems and Structures and Intentional Program Design) and programmatic areas (Safe and Supportive Culture and Climate, Healthy and Active Youth, and Teaching and Learning). An ExCEL/ELO-P Lead Agency should also add value to the overall school program by assisting each site to achieve its own unique goals as specified in its School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).
