The Contractor will provide Equipment and Appliance Maintenance, Service and Repair: i. Appliance installation, hook-up, service and repair on commercial food service equipment including, but not limited to, microwave ovens, char broilers, ovens, cooking appliances, dishwashing machines, steamers, toasters, griddles, and other assorted kitchen equipment. Does not include refrigeration units, electrical installation, hook-up, service and repair on free standing commercial food service equipment and vending machines. Does not include work to alter the building that is housing the equipment. ii. At the request of the Contract Administrator/designee the contractor shall evaluate the equipment in need of repair and provide a service recommendation should equipment need duplicate repairs in less than a three (3) month time frame. This can include photos or written descriptions justifying repeated service. Timely services must be provided to ensure the BEP vendor has limited interruption of business operations. This includes planning logistics, ensuring safety protocols, and coordinating with the Business Enterprises Consultant (BEC) and BEP vendors when necessary.
