Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. CALPIA intends to implement the selected ERP system using an agile implementation approach. Following any required base configuration, the implementation will be managed as short sprints resulting in functional and tested software configurations comprising core components of business functionality. A. The Contractor agrees to furnish all labor, including travel and per diem, materials, non-consumable supplies, transportation, equipment, and every other item of expense necessary to perform services.2. Contractor will act in the technical lead role initially, transitioning to CALPIA staff more and more as the project progresses. CALPIA’s intent is to shadow Contractor’s implementation team to learn the processes until CALPIA’s staff is able to perform them independently. At that point, the Contractor’s staff will shadow CALPIA in an advisory role.3. Contractor agrees to provide and install a replacement system for the current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system used throughout the California Prison Industry Authority (CALPIA). CALPIA is currently using the INFOR ERPLX product, which is an on-premise solution currently being hosted via a cloud provider. The modules used include:• Configurable Enterprise Accounting – General Ledger• Accounts Payable• Accounts Receivable• Cash Management (Drafts)• Advanced Process Industries• Customer Order Entry• Promotions and Deals• Billing• Purchasing• Inventory• Manufacturing Data Management• Manufacturing Requirement Planning• Master Production Scheduling• Demand and Capacity Planning• Costing• Shop Floor Control • Supply Chain Management• Warehouse Management• Workflow ManagementThe current CALPIA ERP system has approximately 250 modifications and 15 system integrations with minimal or no approved specifications or documentation. Other systems and applications will be maintained or will be considered for integration with the new ERP system at a later date.
