Nevada County is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to administer, manage, and implement the Truckee River Public Access and Amenities Project. This project aims to improve paddlecraft access, enhance recreational opportunities, and foster community stewardship at the Glenshire Bridge access point on the Truckee River in Nevada County. By upgrading infrastructure, improving parking, and promoting Leave-No-Trace principles, the project will increase safe public access while protecting the river’s health and surrounding environment. Preparation, and submission of California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) documents for the Truckee River Public Access and Amenities Project will be required. This RFP will result in a one-time maximum not to exceed contract of $106,037, funded by a grant through California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW).
